I watch exactly two sitcoms that are on the air: How I Met Your Mother and Community. I'm still most of this season behind in Community, and had been putting off watching more, because of an episode relating to a main character's parent dying. Husband and I are down in Birmingham. We have been since Friday night. While we were flying down they were saying his mother would not make it through the day. Today, she's awake and a bit a alert. Still awake. But then A CAR RAN INTO MY APARTMENT BUILDING RIGHT UNDER MY KITCHEN WINDOW a little over an hour ago. Adrenaline, what? We are fine. Installed a new game last night, and now either my Windows installation or my harddrive may be borked. Can't tell yet. Working on it. I've got access to my husband's computer, obviously, but I may be spotty for bit while I try to figure out and fix the problem.
